Italian Shepherd's Pie

Serves 4
Prep. Time: 20 min.
Bake Time: 15 min.

1 lb. ground beef
little bit of finely chopped onion
2 c. marinara sauce
1/8 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper

Topping:
1 c. flour
1/4 c. grated Parmesan
1 1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. Italian seasoning
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter, melted

In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat; drain. Add sauce, salt and pepper and heat through for 8 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the topping until just moistened. Spoon filling into 4 8oz. ramekins or one 1 1/2 qt. baking dish. Spoon the topping on top as evenly as you can. Bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes.
